A Staten Island teacher who killed his wife and celebrated by having sex with with a hooker is back on the prowl — and hunting for a new woman online.
“Hey ladies, are you awesome? Like I am? I’m looking for a fun, intelligent girl to stimulate my brain (and possibly my heart),” convicted killer Jonathan Crupi, 34, wrote on his ConPals.com profile.
“I’m not married and I don’t have any kids. No baby-mama drama here!” he boasted on the inmate-centric dating site.
Crupi was convicted of pushing his wife, Simeonette Mapes, down a stairwell and stabbing her 15 times in their New Springfield home four years ago. He is serving 25 to life in Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate Dannemora.
But that hasn’t stopped the lady killer from turning on the charm — and taking a stab at internet romance.
“Being in jail sucks, but I’m an innocent man and I’m working on my appeal. Patience is a virtue, and I’ve learned a lot of it here. For now, I just want to find an interesting girl to share experiences with,” he wrote in the post.
“Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is happy being single, but open to the possibility of a relationship with the right person. Any race, creed, or color is ok with me. Seriously, if you are tall or short, blonde or brunette, tattooed and rude, or shy and a prude, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m open minded and I hope you are too. Take a chance and write to me soon!” he wrote.
But the cold-blooded Casanova’s hunt for Ms. Right outraged Mapes’ family.
“It’s a slap in the face and a personal attack,” her mom, Theresa Mapes, told The Post.
“Inmates convicted of killing a spouse shouldn’t be on dating sites. This man was convicted of killing his wife brutal way. And five months later, he’s looking for another victim,” she fumed.
She added, “The part about him not being married really stung.”
In his profile, he also claims to be handsome, a good cook and a dog lover.
“I’m 34 years old, Puerto Rican and Italian, and I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I’m a bit of a nerd, but that’s cool now, right? I’ve been told that I’m really funny, adventurous, and down to earth. Oh, and that I’m handsome, too lol,” he bragged.
“I like good books and movies, I love to laugh, and I listen to all kinds of music. I also like to dance and cook, but not together. That’s messy lol. I’m a dog lover too. There’s nothing like a furry best friend by your side, right?” he wrote.
Mapes is now pushing for the post to be removed from the website.
It was written by Crupi behind bars and posted online by his mom, she said.
“Any women who is thinking about dating him will regret it. It will be the biggest regret of your life,” she said.
