50 Cute Questions to Ask a Guy You Like and Catch his Eye

The cutest way to grab a guy’s attention is to give him attention first. Asking flirty questions can make the idea less daunting and more interactive.

It’s hard to get your crush’s attention, especially when so many other eligible bachelorettes—and sometimes, even bachelors—are vying for his attention. What you need is an advantage over your competition, and we have just the thing for you.

How to approach the guy you like

Before anything else, we’d like you to prepare for the inevitable moment when your crush starts to fall for you. As much as you’d like to get in there and show him what you’ve got, you still need to know how to approach him confidently, as opposed to just blurting out a random question. So, here are some tips:

#1 Look good. We know you already look fine as hell, but it won’t hurt to check the mirror and primp a little before the approach.

#2 Be confident. Now that you know you look great, you need to make sure you feel just as great about this moment. You’re going to be amazing. We just know it!

#3 Smile. But make sure it’s genuine and doesn’t come off as fake. Just look as happy as you feel to be finally talking to your crush.

#4 Check for a girlfriend or boyfriend. Oh, and before you move on to the questions, scope the premise for a possible girlfriend first. Don’t approach any guy who appears to be on a date, even if you’re not sure. It’s best to avoid any confrontations at all, no matter how hot the guy is.

  1. I think people expect a first date to be a little bit awkward conversationally. A first date is really all about learning a little about that person to see if you’re interested in a second date. So my strategy would be to ask one question, listen to their response and ask at least one organic follow up question, chat about that topic for a while, and then if the topic dries up, bring up a different question. You don’t want to just fire off question after unrelated question. Example: “If you could visit anywhere where would you go?” “Oh, I’ve always wanted to visit Paris!” “That’s a good one, me too! Have you ever been to Europe?” “No but once I went to Jamaica!” “Oh, that sounds fun, tell me about it.” etc. Other appropriate follow-up questions in this scenario could include: Nice, why would you choose Paris? What would you want to see there? Do you speak French? Do you know anybody who’s been there? Do you like French food? etc.
